Becca + Andrew

For Becca + Andrew’s maternity session, it only made sense that it would be by the water. Sailer’s and long time Savannah residents, their sweet baby boy is sure to love the low country and all it has to offer. I love the variety of landscapes around Savannah and this marsh view on the way to Tybee Island is one of my favorites. It embodies slowness, ease, warmth and quiet joy — a lot of the things I aim to capture with maternity photos.

For their second location, we made our way onto Tybee Island, just outside of . It was a windy December evening but dreamy none-the-less. My goal for every beach session is to lean into whatever natural elements we’re given that day - the wind, the fog, the sun, the rain, the waves, and - of course - the birds. This sunny day was windy and chilly, but Becca + Andrew made it look as dreamy as ever. And, as a girl after my own heart, Becca chased the birds with her little baby that will be here oh so soon.
