Courtlan + Tatum

I moved from Oklahoma to Georgia a few years into my business and one of the hardest things was leaving the Oklahoma wedding industry - it was truly so fun to be apart of and sooo good to me as I was building and growing. There are truly so many incredible Oklahoma wedding vendors that are a dream to work with. On a beautiful summer day in Georgia, I got a piece of Oklahoma weddings but in true Georgia style when Embellished Weddings came all the way to the East Coast to plan Courtlan + Tatum’s destination wedding day at The Brice House. Courtlan grew up visiting Savannah and knew she wanted to get married near a place so dear to her heart. Oklahomans in Georgia is simply my favorite thing so getting to document this day among new friends and old was so special.

Located in Vidalia outside of Savannah, The Brice House is Georgia elegance and history at its core. There are so many fun uses of the historic mansion, options to stay on property and endless photo opportunity.

With soft pink hues, a faint pink wedding dress (!!!!!!), and peach cobbler for desert — this August day was southern romance at its finest.
